This video is from one of the signal junction installed with Adaptive Traffic Signal. Green signal started with 47 seconds and the Vehicle Actuation Sensor installed on this direction started to sense the traffic flow. When the green count down reached to 27 secs, vehicle movement on that direction got reduced and the Vehicle Actuation camera has send the less demand information to controller.
Controller has send the information to countdown timer to reduce the timings and here it drop to 5 secs. With this we can see the savings of around 25 secs time. This is one of the Adaptive Traffic Signal maintained by SPB SMART SOLUTIONS.
